ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently looking for an individual who can take responsibility for a number of business development responsibilities, including project management accounting, banking liaison, identifying match funding financial support, run fundraising campaigns, and follow-ups, as well as seeking and applying for grants and planning strategic partnerships.
The role would include elements of project management, including reporting KPIs and team development.
A talented individual with a relevant business/financial degree or experience, and who could make an immediate commitment to the efforts of the business, would be greatly appreciated.
The ideal candidate would have experience in managing project and people, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in a rural and food production environment will be seen as favourable.
They would be located close to Forres, preferably in the Moray area, hold a driving licence and own a vehicle.
Imperative to this role is a strong interest and commitment to environmental issues including circular economy solutions, sustainable rural development and climate change, as well as a desire to grow within the role and the company.
A good cultural fit with the company ethos and connection to the social values of Aurora Sustainability Group is essential, as the right candidate would essentially be creating their own senior role within the company, and an extension of the contract after the initial 6-month period is expected upon review.
